Commissioned Work (such as weddings, family portraits, baby sessions, model portfolios)

A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to confirm a booking; the remainder of the balance must be paid within 2 weeks prior to the shoot date. If payment is not made the photographer has the right to refuse to photograph the event.

 

Copyright ownership is the property of the photographer, as stated in copyright law. The client is obtaining photographs for personal use only and shall not sell said images or authorise any reproductions by parties other than the photographer. 

Photographer agrees to grant these image rights to the client with a non-exclusive, limited, perpetual license. Each image published on social media websites must have an appropriate credit (image courtesy of Rose Tinted Studios by Natalie Foster).

 

 

Commercial work

An individual contract will be drawn up for companies, the fee is dependent on specific image licensing required and credit given.

Theft

All photos created by the photographer are copyright protected. It is a violation of copyright law to copy, scan, or allow the photographer's photographs to be reprinted, duplicated, digitally reproduced, copied, scanned, or altered digitally or otherwise, without the photographer's express written permission. 

 

In the event that images are copied to be used in unauthorised manners, an invoice will be sent accordingly, appropriate legal action will be taken if failure to make payment.
